Just like in my previous post on 10 best public schools in Enugu State, I feel the need to also write about my 7 best private secondary schools in Enugu State, Nigeria.
Private secondary school in the context of this post is secondary schools own by individual(s) and are registered under private secondary school with the ministry of education in Enugu state.
Every other day, there are new private schools starting up in different locations in the state. Most are registered while some do not have the proper registration to operate and carry out the services the offer.
Recently in Enugu state, the government through her ministry of education ban 83 private schools in Enugu due to different breach of laws and some operating below the layout standard that every private school should abide by.
Choosing a private school against public school has many advantages but one of the best that I consider great is that private school maintain a regular education calender unlike public schools in Nigeria that usually face series of strike action and complete school close down during the said period.
Many students have add some extra year or years due to strike action and it is not very healthy for your education.

I agreed with you @Oge and Preety. I think DDL should be on the list. I have been to the school many years ago and have few cousins that attended the school. @Preety, I am not sure if it is right to claim that “no one ever fails WAEC exams”. The only thing I can attest for is that some friends I met in uni that graduated from DDL had cultivated a reading habit and they work hard with their studies.
