Do u guys know what I just found out? Read on. I’m on a serious search for a good fashion school here in Nigeria(Lagos precisely),if possible, the best, and because of that,I’m always on the internet, sending emails, calling, and even visiting. I found out about a lot, from Ginani to Rhoda Michaels(heard of that one?),Instituto Di Moda Burgo(3250 euro on discount),those with affordable fees like Rose Gabriel(70000)AuxtinLarry(40000,80000,100000),de image(60000,100000,150000),Vigold(200000 for a year),Hafshelline Fashion School(70000 for the basics which runs for three months and 90000 for the advanced class for the same three months, they also have classes for crafts and it goes for 70000 for three months, all from 8am to 3pm. I think however, that they kind of copied the course outline of Zaris fashion and style academy.#just saying) Moofa(200000 for six months, don’t know if all will agree with me on this though),etc,I have even inquire from those without a website yet like KandG in Oshodi,K2 fashion institute,LC school of fashion, and so on. Ok,back to my first sentence,I was so confused on which would set me on the right path with a comprehensive knowledge of not just designing but also the business side of fashion in Nigeria. In my confused state,I thought about the online schools so I started researching. Found a lot and they all promised wonderful things but I don’t know. I found out Cre fashion institute and something about the name made me go deeper in my inquiry about the school, though very expensive. I found out that Legs apparel in Abuja,Nigeria, did a form of copy and paste from this particular school, they description, course outline and even photos. Gosh,I really loved legs apparel and I was ready to even travel all the way,but with this,I just can’t trust them at all. Have u guys heard about VSSFD in ghana? I love what I see in their website and FBook, already communicating with the propeitress,Mrs Joyce Ababio. I’m really confused because I don’t want to make the mistake of choosing the wrong school the first time but I’m hopeful. In the mean time,I registered with a sewing class online(sewing101 from universalclass.com) for 40dollars(haven’t started yet) and also esewingworkshop.com,here,with a one year payment of 99USD or monthly 15USD,u would be able to watch sewing classes online and learn from there/them. I did my research on them and they are commendable. Also bought fashion design, illustration and styling books. Hopefully,I’l learn from them. Would keep commenting. Love u guys. To our success future designers.
