postgraduate2 Physics Postgraduate Programme in Nigerian Universities

Masters Degree in Physics

The Postgraduate programme cuts across various fields of study including Engineering, Space, Geology, Biology etc., and offers you the opportunity to work in all industry, it empowers you to be self-reliant and relevant in a competitive environment, and develops physicists who will develop, through innovative research, technological inventions and theories that will make Nigeria self-reliant.

With adequate theoretical and practical frameworks, it exposes the students to all aspects of applied physics which is sine qua non for the development of Condensed Matter, Electronics and Energy, equip the students with capability for Research and Development in all areas of theoretical and applied physics and prepare students to be self-reliant work after graduation

How to Apply

The application process into Applied Physics Postgraduate programme is done either online or in person. Some Postgraduate schools offering Applied Physics run an online system of application where interested and qualified candidates are expected to pay the stipulated amount in order to have access to the admission page and fill the form with the appropriate details and attach their credential for submission while some schools handle the application process in their office, one on one with the candidate.

Forms can be obtained at the school and returned with the needed documents after being filled.

Entry Requirements

B.Sc. degree with a minimum of second class lower division in Physics.

Admission Process

The admission process of students intending to study Applied Physics at the Postgraduate level is handled internally by the school and this is done by qualified academics chosen by the school authority based on the qualifications and experience.

The submitted forms and credential of the prospective students are appropriately scrutinised based on the admission requirement and qualified students are shortlisted for admission.
